Jenny Hyer

Jenny has studied many different styles of dance including ballet, jazz, hip hop, lyrical, folk, modern, tap, clogging and ballroom.  She continues to cultivate her dance education through attending new certification courses and dance conferences each year.

Opening a studio has been a desire of Jenny’s for many years. From her interaction with young dancers she found a missing link that needs to be addressed! Dance isn’t just about the movement of the body, but about the discipline, goal setting, emotion portrayal, friendship, humility, team work, and leadership skills that will create an overall remarkable individual. At Illusion Dance Studios we focus on a specific leadership principle with your child each month and explore how applying that skill enhances our dance practice and our success in life.

Melissa Petty

I am classically trained in the Balanchine method. I can provide your  child with proper ballet technique and understanding in ballet  terminology. I am certified in progressing ballet technique. (PBT) I can  offer your child the ability to gain strength, flexibility and injury  prevention. Improvisation is a super important role in my classes so your child  can gain confidence, think creatively and tell a story with movements  and learn to listen and count their music.

Hailey Cooper

Hailey has been dancing since she was 4 years old. She was the captain of her state title winning team her senior year of High School.  Working hard, being on time, and individual and team commitment are what Hailey gives credit for the successes she's enjoyed and hopes to provide the same type of qualities and experiences for your dancer.  Not only does Hailey love all types of dance; she also loves what dance has taught her, that she was then able to use in all areas of her life allowing her to spark a love for dance with your student. Hailey is certified through Acrobatic Arts allowing her to provide your student with correct technique to ensure safety in and out of class. Hailey's love for dance has always been something she values and strives to share with other dancers.

Robyn's  introduction to dance happened later than most and it makes her all the  more passionate about it. Her first class was hip hop but she has since  studied numerous dance genres including jazz, ballet, contemporary,  modern, butoh, musical theatre, and hula. She performed with several  dance and theatre companies in California and Hawaii and is currently a  member of Explore Dance Company.

Her energy in the classroom is contagious; your  student is sure to leave the class excited and passionate about dance!

Esperanza Fuhriman

Her dedication to dance and enthusiasm to learn  provided her with the opportunity to dance as an Idaho State University  Bengal Dancer. Esperanza is currently finishing her Bachelor’s degree in  General and Special Education which provides her the tools necessary to  meet the individual needs of all learning styles. While incorporating  many styles of learning into the studio, emotional and social skills are  also supported through imaginative thinking and proper modeling of  classroom etiquette. Esperanza’s certifications in Basic Life Support  and First Aid ensure that the dancers are provided a safe place to  learn. Her happiness is contagious and she wants to share that with  every dancer that steps into her class.

She continually raises the bar for her classes and challenges them physically, mentally and emotionally. She believes teaching children how to overcome challenges builds confidence and grit. She expects proper classroom behavior, which allows for more learning and growth for everyone. Kyliegh is passionate about leaving a bit of yourself on stage after every performance.
